Gilmore Girls 1×21: Love, Daisies and Troubadours.

Lorelai: I just say things to Taylor to confuse him.

Rory and Lorelai have significant romantic relationship moments.

My Review:

The episode opens with Lorelai being woken up by a loud banging outside, only to find Luke fixing her porch rail. She locks herself outside and has to wake Rory (and Babette) to open the door for her. Michel is being his usual bad employee self that day, Sookie is sad and Lorelai is madly in love with Max. Rory finds her Dean box and is happy that Lorelai kept it, she even decides to go to the grocery store to try and talk to him. But he isn’t there, though Taylor does think she is shoplifting. Like she has EVER shoplifted from there before Taylor.

At school Tristan got concert tickets for him and Rory. When she says no, he tells Paris that he is going out with her. REALLY TRISTAN. GO HOME AND GET LOST. Rachel talks to Lorelai and asks her where Luke might be, even though she knows he is probably fixing Lorelai’s house. Lorelai goes back home and finds Luke, so she talks to him. Meanwhile, Rory scares Dean’s young sister and makes her cry. Max, Rory and Lorelai go to the town meeting together and bring in SO much food. There is an argument between two troubadour’s and Rory stands up and defends the troubadour so that Dean can hear what she says. Luke goes home and Rachel has her bags packed. Bye, bye Rachel. We’ll never see you again.

Back at school, Paris tells Rory that she is going to make her time on the school newspaper a living hell. Oh Rory, you have two LONG years ahead of you my dear. Back in Stars Hollow, Max and Luke have an argument and are being all manly toward each other, so Max asks Lorelai to marry him. She of course says no. Dean shows up at Rory’s school and Tristan watches them get back together. Now time for you to go home forever Tristan. Just. Go. At the inn, there is 1000 yellow daisies and Max tries to propose to Lorelai again. The season ends with Lorelai and Rory running to each other to share the great news. Onto season two, guys.

Episode Highlight:

Tristan finally getting his and watching Rory and Dean get back together.
